The deprivation mind set is actually counter productive to it’s purpose. We deprive ourselves to keep ourselves from something but eventually we just give in, whether it be out of a weak will or feeling like we deserve a reward. We crave what we can’t have or what we’re not allowing ourselves to have. Why should we keep our selves from the thing we want? A lot of the time when we do that and finally do give in we find that the thing we wanted wasn’t even that great. If you allow yourself to have the things you want you’ll find yourself wanting the things your depriving yourself of less and less. That lack of resistance will allow better habits to manifest in your reality. We really need to examine these situations where we apply this mind set to. Our minds can convince us of anything, to do something…
